So the photo that I used was one of
the flowers that I found around campus. I thought that they gave a varied color
scheme, which gave me many choices to use for my swatches. The colors made me
think almost of a cheerful time in the day as they bring out the reds that
contradict the green grass around it.
For my first swatch I used the red
of the flowers sparking enough of the beauty that is in the flower and making
it flourish on the paper. The green that I used were the leaves and stems and how greatly the contrasted against the green. The brown was actually the dead heads for the plant giving almost an earthly element to the whole swatches that was needed. As you can see the first column is color at it's fullest. The second column is the swatches of color with a tint at 75% so there isn't much less but it makes a big difference. The last column is a tint at 50% which changes the color greatly in comparison to the first column.
For my first name plate I decided to use the red because it seemed to work better to start out with red because it was the first of the color swatches. Each name plate uses the first of each row, allowing the accurate difference between the colors to be easily identified. I chose my typeface because it seemed to work the best for my personality. It fit my character to be nice and simple as well as being able to demonstrate not entirely on the colors.
I chose the words of Writer, because I have loved to write since I was little and am an avid writer in my life. The next word that I used was Artist because I love to draw even though I am terrible at it, it doesn't stop me from doing it. The third word I used was Gamer, I love video games and it is my major in college. I have loved games since I saw my brother playing games, although I wasn't allowed to play them until I was older they just always amazed me. For my final word that I used was DragonSlayer, yes I know a weird word to use as a description. First of all one of the first three games that I played was actually Skyrim so it works to that affect. The other meaning of the word is that in my writings there almost always has to be some type of dragon either it be good or evil it truly doesn't matter but there is always a dragon. Those are my typeface and I hope you like what I did.
