Working the Shot

Working the shot, it sounds odd I must admit. Yet it is actually a very good way to shoot photography. As most people are aware that taking photos can be a pain sometimes but there are a few easy ways to make it easier. One of these ways is to work the shot, where you get different looks from different angles or perhaps different distances away. Each photo gets a different look to it and it makes it appear from an unfamiliar angle giving the object a different look to it.

As you can tell by the images below each picture has a unique look to it. Giving you a bit of a different story that is connected to each picture.

About Me
Hello, to whomever is currently reading this post. My name is Gabrielle Wanek, and I currently attend high point as a communication major. I grew up in a small town in rural Wisconsin, where most of our culture was revolved around being outdoors.

Paintball
Growing up in a small town, I had come to get involved with paintball through my older brother playing it in high school and college. The first time I played, he gave me his favorite gun and some of his gear. I was terrified, but the game itself was more of an adrenaline rush than anything else. As time went on I got my own gear and gun excited for when I could play again. Unfortunately, in the past two years I have been unable to play due to medical reasons. Whenever I am able to surpass the medical reasons, I will be prepared to pick up my paintball gun again.

How games have changed me.

Video games play a very important part in my life. From one of the first Mario games to Assassin’s creed these games were my inspiration to pursue video game design as a major. I saw my older brother playing them and I noticed how it made him feel. I wanted people to laugh, cry, scream, or get angry at something I made, to show that games are more than just for kids. Games are very important to me, and they have showed me my path in life.
